Well, the end of the semester is coming up, and I will have torrents of extra hours to invest in all sorts of productive endevours. For one, writing decent content for this page and two, spellcheck it. That reminds me, I wrote a wrapper for Aspell in PHP. I am terrified to use it, because the first time i used it, our sysadmin compiled an outdated version, which, evidentally, leads to the server crashing. Mercy!
I make countless observations, and the duty of this Anit-Aircraft gun turned Anti-Tank Gun turned diary is to document that diatribe. Well, it's a lazy prick, because countless is certainly more than this blog has ever provided. Infact, what would be the limit on this system?
Well, I'm not going to calculate it, but instead try to scare you off with a mastered self-portrait I took with my camera phone.
Also, another statement worth repeating is that clients who are using Weblab (Wespe), my eCommerce package, should take comfort in the restoration of thier websites.
I've been making a ritual out of going to Ceremony. Ceremony is an Industrial/EBM night in Kenmore Sq, Boston. It's been going on strong for exactly 10 years as of last month..exactly. So as of today, its been going on for 10 years and 1 month. Crazy, aye?
Yes. It is.
So, a few weeks ago at the Ceremony, the tracks were solid, but the sound was absolutely attrocious. Now, it baffled me to a great extent, because I was completely aware of the potential of the system, yet, the music was muffled. Well, from one DJ to another, I crept up onto the booth and said "Pull Up Your Highs" And Whoa, music suddenly was good.
Now, last thought on my mind that i can recall and has some semblance of a rational idea is my plan to give the Katyusha a brand new Interface. Right now, its just an FTP, and its Hypertext protocols (ey-ey) display your typical pseudo-ftp interface. But, given the flood of free time I'll have with the reallocation of school hours, I can actually work on it (in approx 2 weeks). HA, other jerks have girlfriends, I got programming projekts, ha-ha suckers!
Christmas shopping. Booo!
Work is awesome, I'm sure i'm at liberty to express such a simple truth without breachin' the NDA. I moved up to boston for this job. So my life is now directly centered around this job. It definatley has its rewards, such as HealthCare, a 401K, and life insurance. Here's an example of how its engulfed my life: this week I worked from home (another perk) and I fell asleep at my desk last night, woke up at 8:45, drank some cold coffee from yesterday to kick me up, and went back to work. One element of this new experience that took me months to adjust to was working from home. I've finally adapted, and I think its provided the company with the type of employee they want, someone who doesn't just work thier job, but lives it.
Alas, there is a reason why I feel this warrents an update. There has been an overabundance of work this week and I finished all these projects long before thier deadlines. So impressed was my CSR, that she made an effort to let the management know that I was doing a great job. which you could imagine, is a great feeling.
My status at this job is the life-support here in Boston. I work my IDE to the rythem of my heartbeats. So, basically, I am very cognascent and sensitive about it. And thats why I got the nickname, Shakey.
well, Ian dave and I were talking about trance music,
and got on some diatribe about music theory detritus, eg: Tremolos. Regardless, Dave asked me a simple question: "do you still have my songs?" DO I.
In a folded up parchment scroll, with his wax watermark: a crimson daggar, he left me a message: "Meet me in the cave tonight, i'll give you all the tracks there." I gathered up my courage, and pondered,
"What time of night should I show up? Is he really gonna just wait around for eight-nine hours? Its also, after the solstice and before the equinox...did i get them backwards, i meant winter. EG: its alot darker. lousey farmers."
This entry is for breadstream clients that stumble across popgun.
The domain for breadstream.com was in my former associates name, therefore it expired.
I registered it in my name, so now , it should be okay, right? Wrong, of course. Naturally, when a domain expires it immediately goes into a 10-day domain auction. So now, I have to wait 10 days to be able to propagate the domain. However, for the meanwhile, your sites will be adjusted to work without the DNS.
I apologize for the affair.
