I have a water bubble in not one, but both my ears. It's driving me up the wall. For those who haven't experience my delight, it's akin to going deaf.

I woke up relatively early today, so I went out for coffee with my mom and little sister. My mom has this somewhat masochistic penchant for Don & McCaig, who are these hyper-conservative nutjobs who I'm pretty sure were a poor attempt to splice stem cells from Archie Bunker. They boast thier political incorrectness, by porporting civil rights as an affront against thier civil liberities. I'm not joking. In any case, the pigeonholing of MA as a Red Communist Bloc is clearly deflected by the fact that these two have airtime.


Today's topic started with verbally assaulting a church whose parishioners are mostly African descent..for exclusively catering to black people(?). They had a guest speaker from the church. I personally think this dialouge should define the debate:
Don: "So what if I had an all-white church?"
Speaker: "Umm, well i guess that'd correspond to the demographic of your area. We accept people of all races into our church."

I find that this episode is practically tantemount of the show, because it manifests their deafness. I find it funny because they attack a church, the most important stucture in the christian right-wing movement. Basically, the speaker bluntly repeated that they accept all people, and Don insisted they didnt. Well, if they find a cross burning in thier front-lawn, at least we have a motive. It reminds me when they preached injustice that there was an exclusively gay cruise. Yeah, real injustice, assholes. I personally would make an effort to avoid a gay cruise. If they had it thier way, I would blindly walk into a cruise with a gay majority and exhaust my efforts in impressing a group of girls, or worse, succeed with someone I thought. was. a. girl.

Besides, I dont think exclusive minority events are an affront to the majority. I mean, when Halburtin got thier contracts for drilling in Iraq, did these jokers say "Boo"? They're a financial minority. Don't you feel the least bit of nepotism, political favoritism, injusitice? Also, if these guys had it thier way, I suppose we'd all be carted away at gunpoint to Synogouges on Fridays for temple. Because WhY ShOuLd DaNgeRoUs MiNoRiTiEs have thier own exclusive congregations?

Speaking of DaNgeRoUs MiNoRiTiEs, The next issue was about the recent stabbing of a professor at an univserity. The suspect is a foreign student on his visa. Naturally, this is a story these creeps have been waiting for; For a long time.

Basically thier rationale was that the liberal agenda has been giving foreigners so much freedom that it culimates into the inevitible stabbing. It wasnt long before liberals became an accomplice to the suspect. And it wasn't long before affirmative action became the next target. Which is actually the object I want to focus on.

Their stance on affirmative action is negative one. A school needs to meet a quota, eg: 10% of thier students of Ethnicity A. They feel that a quota diminishes the quality of the student body, and focuses on quantity of Class Beta. I find it hard to believe that there are no qualified students in all of Race 6. There must be at least enough to fill University III's quota. Its just a quota in order to diversify the school, and to repair the social alienation by improving the education and therefore careers of Group Zwei.
To further elaborate: say the quota wasnt met with quality students. Theres nothing wrong with the quota, there's nothing wrong with the race, Whats wrong is our class system. If their communities and highschools are incapable of producing a qualified student, then there is something wrong with the funding or attention given to Demographic R.

By claiming there are no qualified students in this sect, you are perpetuating a quagmire of lower-class people who all share one thing in common: Race.

Anyway to further mire the point, I personally have no opinion on AA, primarily because it doesnt concern me. My opinions are as arbitrary as my conservative counterparts. It's analogous to abortion rights. Since when do impotent old men get to decide what young woman do with thier bodies?

right now i'm working on user-access and the db consolidation for Wespe/webkit/whatever. This blog will probably not exist in a couple hours, to be replaced by a decent review of my recent termination from Genevate for questioning the quality of the company due to their dogs incessant barking. This recent build reminds that the irrational insult my former boss said, paraphrased: 'the quality of your work has been perpetually degeneVating (waka,waka,waka) since you got here" is complete bullshit.
