This is a design I conceived around the time I designed Popgun88. As a chip musician, I figured the header region needed a pixelated NES console. The bullets, icons, etc are from Super Mario Brothers 3, which I believe breathes some life into the design.

Its a sharp design and a simple design and I think it conveys instantly that he writes Chip Music.

Interesting Fact

I explicitly designed it, Dav programmed the functionality. Interestingly enough, although I gave him a mySQL database, which still exists, he chose to write a home-made db-structure
using folders and text-files.

Afterwords

I am proud of this design. There was no pretension or irony, which is ironic, as the 8bit style has become synonymous with both.
